Every product in our blast portfolio has been tested and approved by India's Terminal Ballistic Research Laboratory (TBRL) under DRDO, and tested to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) standards. Our products are deployed across the Indian Air Force, Navy, AII, and police forces nationwide.

Product 01 · Bomb & IED

Bomb Suppression Blanket (BSB)

The BSB and Blast Containment Ring (BCR) minimise the impact of explosive detonation on surrounding personnel and property. The BCR is placed around the device and the BSB draped over it — directing blast upward while containing fragments and significantly reducing casualties.

  • Ballistically tested by TBRL — Approved by Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence
  • BSB sizes: 100×130 cm to 150×200 cm; BCR 43×100 cm to 43×150 cm (custom available)
  • Three protection levels; V50 of 415–660 m/s; total weight approx. 40 kg

Bomb Basket

The SMI Bomb Basket is a first-response tool for EOD teams — designed for rapid, safe containment and transport of suspected IEDs and suspicious packages. Its open lattice construction allows visual inspection without disturbing a device while containing secondary fragmentation.

The SMI Blast Containment Bin looks like a standard public waste bin while providing certified blast containment — protecting high-footfall areas without visible tension or operational disruption. Tested to MHA 2013 standards and rated for 2 KG TNT equivalent.

Secure Mobile India indiginiously developed Bomb Inhibitor (Model - MATRIX), specially adapted to be used for reducing the deleterious effect of a bomb blast of upto 1.5 kg TNT which can cause injuries/ death to the persons in vicinity and damage to the property/premises.
